Question:My son has got blackcurrant spilled all over a new t-shirt, what is the best way of removing it?

Whatever you do not do what T.C.B.said that's a total waste of good wine, you only pour the wine after you've drank it not before, it has to pass through the system first and then you pee on the shirt (believe it or not that's a natural bleach) so if you're going to use wine drink it first. LMSIAOSFHISMS

Quickly pour white wine over the stain then rinse in cold water , it should come out. White wine is used to remove red wine stains , so it should remove this stain too

If you have it try soda water onto the stain as quickly as possible - if that doesn't work use a biological powder/liquid to wash it in - a non-bio won't touch it
Vanish spray
I know two methods that can be used that will remove the stain completely. First scissors. Just cut out the affected area. The second is a little more expensive, but will not leave a hole. Cup of petrol, match and back garden. Place shirt onto grass, pour petrol onto affected area, throw lighted match onto petrol and go indoors for ten minutes. When you come out the stain will be completely gone.
Pre treat with Vanish,before putting in washing machine.They have a spray on one now but funnily enough I thought the liquid one that you just poured a small amount of onto the stain,was the best..Another tip when you have put the Vanish onto the stain use something like a small coin,or bottle top to rub it in using circular movements.

Soda crystals, cheap and the most effective. 59p from morrisons, look on the laundry section. I had some chip fat on a new top, could not get it out after 3 washes. Dissolve a hand full of soda crystals in hot water and leave to soak for 1/2 an hour. If it don't work, I'll eat my hat.
DON'T use bleach, you'll ruin it.
