Which of the following is the best for an LG fully automatic washing machine?

Question:1.detergent powder
2.soap powder
3.soap flakes.
and how are they different from each other?

Answers:
I'm no authority and maybe wrong but I think that the density of the soap is the difference. You didn't mention liquid detergent which seems to take less and dissolves better,no residue to worry about. Also works better if you have treated or more minerals in the tap water.I used to use the powders..untill I tried liquid and I doubt I'll change back.Honest,it works better and seems to take less.

I would use the pre measured pouches. they dont make any mess and you cant over sudz the machine. powder makes a huge mess.
they all contain the same ingrediant, sodium phosphates, they differ only in form: liquid, solid, gaseous
The man who installed my dishwasher and any plumber will tell you to use Cascade Complete Dishwasher Powder. I am not sure why but it has something to do with keeping the machine running well. All I know is my dishes come out sparkling clean, I love the stuff and won't use anything else.
