HELP! How do I get hair dye out of carpet!?
Question:This morning, dying hair... phone rings, I run from bathroom to lounge answer it, have since found a trail of brown dots accross my beige carpet and cream rug. Permanant hair dye!. Please help!

Baking Soda mixture with lemon juice should pull it right up... Squeze lemon juice on it then a dab of baking poder/sode and make a paste. Keep rubbing til you see no color left. It works great!

I know if you get dye on your skin they say lemon juice will take it off, not sure this will work on removing it from carpet but it's worth a shot..
The only other thing I can suggest is try a good carpet cleaner, there are tons out there that you can spray on your rug and simply vacum up...Good Luck...
Man,I think you're stuck...but if you're bold and want to take a chance..try the spray clorox bleach cleaner but don't rub a bigger area or it might just spread out and make a bigger mess.Any way to replace or cut the very top layer of fibers after t it dries?Only a guess..Check with a carpet dealer or installer,remember they may mislead you for the opportunity of an easy sale.
