When using Murphy's Oil Soap to clean our hardwood floor do I have to dilute it with water?

Question:

Answers:
yes you dilute it with water. Approximately 1 - 2 ounces of murphey's to 2 gallons of water. One thing though, murphey's oil soap is designed to use on unfinished wood where it can soak into the pours of the wood and add moisture. It is not the best thing to use if your hardwoods have a poly-urethane finish on them or if you are cleaning laminate flooring since the oil soap cannot soak in and will instead sit onto of the finish and actually attract dirt due to the film that will be left behind when you are done cleaning.

I suggest that you use a product such as Bonakemi products that are designed specifically for today's flooring needs

Yes usually a capful in 1/2 gallon or something like that read the label.
Yes; if you don*t dilute it you will be falling all over the place. It isn*t called OIL for nothing. Read the directions.
