How do you remove hair dye from wood floors?
Question:I kind of accidentally dyed the floor and would like to fix it if there is a way. It's temporary dye if that helps with anything.

Temporary hair dyes can proove to be incredibly permanent on any substance but hair. If nothing else works, you might want to get a Formby's wood stripping/refinishing kit.

Wait til it grows out!! No, really just scrubbing with soap and hot water should do it, dont use anything too strong or you might take off the floor varnish.
Thinner or Kerocene would help you to solve your issue
If the floor has a good top coat shouldn't be a problem. Sounds like it doesn't. There's a good product avail. called "Goop" as well as others in the paint section of Wal-Mart. Follow directions and reseal floor afterwards.
