How to remove marker from a chalkboard?
Question:Does anyone know of any cleaners that will take marker off of a chalkboard? I already tried Goo Gone. Didn't work. I bought this chalkboard at a yard sale, so it's hard telling how long the marker has been on there.

Trace over the marks with an erasable marker. Then erase immediately. Do it in small sections. We do that all the time at school. It may leave a shadow trace, but the board is perfectly fine.
use rubbing alchol and wipe it out!
Use Methylated Spirit, this also removes grass stain´s . use an old rag or soft cloth to apply, then rinse with warm water
