How do i get playdough out of my rug?

Question:my daughter made a mess :[

Answers:
A mix of hot water- about 2-3 cups, a tsp of salt, a tsp of baking soda, a TBSP of vinegar, and if you have it oxy clean. Mix it all together, be careful it bubbles like crazy! Put a splash on the playdough and rub lightly til it comes out. This works very very well on set in stains too!

Vegetable oil first and wipe off with paper towel or clean rag. Then use Woolite's Oxyclean Rug and Carpet Stain removal.
try chilling it by putting ice cubes on them, this may cause it to harden a bit so it may become less sticky. they use this for taking out gum in fabric. you can try that! hopefully it helps.. =)
put ice on it ,when its cold enough,it should crumble and you can vacuum it up.
Let it dry till it is hard.then take a strong comb and comb it out...I work in a day care and this works the best for me.
Sponge with a small bit of dry cleaning solution if all other fails. Works with most stains. Good Luck.
Take a clean rag, saturate it with warm(not hot) water, ring it out slightly, set it on the lump of playdough. Wait until it softens and gently pull it off. If there is some color remaining, try some Oxiclean but try it in an inconspicuous spot first.

I've had plenty of playdoh in my carpet over the years with five kids. Good luck!
