An ink pen burst on my carpet.?
Question:The ink is blue, and the carpet is tan. I've tried carpet shampoos, the rug doctor, and scrubbing. I have wasted a lot of money because the ink stain remains. Any suggestions?

Hairspray might be able to work. Had some problems with ink stain before and the hairspray trick worked perfectly. Try the link below to get some helpful tips in removing ink stain.
Well it might be too late now, because of all of the scrubbing and stuff you did to it. The best cleaner for ink is hairspray from an aerosol can. You spray a little on and only DAB with a clean white cloth or paper towel. Keep repeating and you will see more and more ink on your cloth and it will eventually have your carpet looking good as new. Also works on clothes.
Spray the stain with hairspray. Wait a few minutes and blot off. Repeat process until stain disappears. Works a treat!!
Pour soda water on it (not lemonade). The bubbles will bring up the stain underneath where you have been scrubbing. You will be able to blot it as it comes to the surface. If that does not work methylated spirits will get it out.
Clear rubbing alcohol and use a magic eraser as your sponge, i used this to get ink from my micro suede couch(which is light tan), purses, clothes, blankets...this is what I stick too...will only cost you around $2 too!

I am a big fan of this product but have never tried it on ink in the carpet. The official site says it can remove ink. but I don't know if that includes ink that you have previously tried to clean.
