Question:

Answers:
you could try using some rubbing alcohol

Try rubbing ice on it. That should take it off. I know it's a sticky-yucky mess!

JOY
Goo-B-Gone. It's a lifesaver
Not sure if it's in one location or more. But you could try putting ICE on it, get it very cold. It will become more brittle and possibly chip out. Good luck!
Use either WD40 or Oops, both available at almost any store. Spray gum until wet and use paper towels to wipe up the mess. It may take several attempts, but it will work.
Get some "Goo Gone" from someone like Walmart...a liquid in a bottle. It should work.
I would try holding ice against it until it became rigid and then try to break it off.
Use goo gone or Avon's Skin So Soft bath oil and some cotton balls and rub it off. It may take a few tries but it works !!!!!
Try eucalyptus oil.
Goo Gone, WD40, or similar product will dissolve the gum into a slime which will wipe off. (As several others have said, you may have to let the stuff sit for a while, or do more than one application, but both will work.

Then, you should use dish soap or laundry detergent & very warm water to wash the oily residue off the inside of the drum or that will cause stains on your clothes, too.
