How do i get pemanate marker out of cotton quilt?

There is a small bottle of cleaner, walmart sells, i don't remember the name, but it is almost $5 a bottle, small bottle, yellowish orange color. It is usually where the silver cleaner, and odd stain removers are. It says on it, it will get out permanent marker. It was the only thing that would get permanent marker from our micro suede couch! My son colored on it!
take it to the cleaners and have it professionally cleaned. If not, try a mixture of methanol and acetone. cotton is durable and the dye should not be affected. I would go to the dry cleaners first and see what they can do.
I read that hairspray would do the job
