What is the best way to remove "Wonder Web" from trouser hem?
Question:I have tried washing it, scrubbing at it with a scourer and it's no good. I have undone the bond, and just want to get rid of the glue from the material. I was going to try methelated spirits, but not sure if this will take the colour away as they are Navy blue.

Lay out on old towel, use the hottest setting on the iron and press to towel, transferring wonder web to towel. May take a few times to remove completely.
I was going to suggest Meths. It should be OK - Just test it on a small area that does not show to make sure it does not alter the colour - it shouldn't
Just run a hot iron over it again, it will peel or roll off while still warm.
Or try putting the trousers in the freezer overnight. This should harden the glue then it should peel off.
