Best way to clean up my room?
Question:When ever I try to clean up my room I get so distracted!! please tell me some ways to get it clean fast (and keep it clean)

Make you bed first, then put everything on the floor on your bed. This will make you finish if you ever want to go to bed.
Then vacuum the floor and start puting things away. I like to save the clothes for last. Getting organized with containers or shelves can really make a difference in how to put things away and also in maintaining the cleanliness. Don't forget to put some music on while you are working, turn off TV or computer. I know that i can get distracted easily if there is something visual going on around me, turning things of will help emilminate this problem. Turning a phone off if you can helps too.
I like to listen to music whenever I need to clean. It is easy to get distracted, but the music helps to keep me happy. I find it easier and I move quicker.
As far as keeping it clean, just put things away when you are done. It only takes 5 seconds to put one thing away, but it can take half an hour when you let it all build up.
I set a timer for 15 minutes and do as much as I can. Then If I feel like continuing I set the timer again. Every hour I take a break. I usually start from one side of the room and work my way over. First I get all the trash laundry and dishes I can find.
Then I get to the straightening part.

I think its always best to prevent having to do a big clean-up, make the decision that this time once you clean your room, you are going to keep it neat permanently, it only takes 30 seconds to put something away once your finished with it, or do a quick vacume - and then you won't need to spend ages tidying up :)
When I clean I always go around the room clock wise and leave the middle til last.
It makes it easier and a little fun.
