How to remove nailpolish!!?
Question:i spilled nail polish on my bedspread!! wel actually my friend did!! anyway.. its my favorite.. how can i get it out.. i dont know if i can wash it
Answers:
dont use nail polish remover, you just need the active ingredient, which is acetone. rub with a cotton ball, being creful not to spread it, as it will soften the nailpolish again. do that then rinse with WARM water and repeat until it fades. You wil probably have to do it a few times though. You may also need to get it dry cleaned as it will probably smell pretty bad and that will help to clean it up nicely. good luck. (and you are NOT screwed!)
You're kind of screwed. You can try nail polish remover, but it might take the color out of the bedspread too.
Seriously, this works! Take some acetone or nailpolish remover, and scrub the beadspread with warm water and the remover. Then, wash it in your machine and hang to dry. But if it has been set on your bed for a while, you may need to put more work into it.
scrub with a mix of water and nail polish remover. once you've got it all or most of it out, wash it as usual. this might night work but its the best i can say, unless ur bedspread is white try bleaching it.
Use nonacetone nail polish remover. Do not use acetone remover, as acetone is used as a solvent to dissolve polyester and exposy resins. Use a white rag and blot from outside the stain toward the middle until nail polish is removed. Apply heavy duty liquid laundry detergent to area and gently agitate or rub by hand. Let set. Then wash as instructed.
The big thing to remember is use cold water and don't dry it until the stain is gone.
well my mom has this white stuff in a nail pollish bottle and it called finger nail polish remover
I know lighter fluid gets it off of wood floors, you might could try it on the bedspread...
