Replacing the belts on a maytag dryer?

Question:

Answers:
It is not so hard .I did it,the belt on mine was about$15.You need the model number and an appliance parts store.
Un plug it. remove front cover and simply feed the new belt in. I have thick hands so I got a cut on the metal inside the dryer so take your time feeding the new belt into place..I have extended the life of my dryer 7 years with this simple 30 min. do it your self job.

Take a look at the repair clinic site it has a diagram page for most appliances. Also, a 800#

Good luck! Hurry up and replace that belt, because I had a belt going on my Maytag drier and my hubby was out of town so it didn't get replaced right away and the dryer ended up completely dying. We had to buy a new one (got a kenmore this time- rated best buy!) Our darned Maytag only lasted 3 years!
