How do I get sweat stains and smells out of my t-shirts?
Question:I go to the gym four times a week, using a different t-shirt each time. I've noticed that some of these t-shirts still smell of sweat, even after I've washed them. I've tried biological powder but there's still a slight smell on the underarms.

If your T's are white, come home from the gym & put them in the washer with warm water & Clorox. Let them set all night & wash them the next day. If your T's are colored, put them to soak in warm water & Clorox Bleach for colored clothes, & let them soak in the washer all night, then wash as usual the next day. It's time to change laundry soaps, since it has failed you miserably. I use Tide liquid & Downy liquid & my laundry always looks & smells great. I take a lot of pride in how my laundry comes out.
Simply try vinegar.
It'll eat away at the odors. Shouldn't do anything to the colors or anything of the shirt.
If they are white shirts, simply bleach the hell outta em.
Your laundry detergent is not doing the job. switch to 'WISK'. Expensive, but you use less cause it really works. Try letting the machine set for 20 minutes or so full of laundry/detergent/water. Then let it continue on the heavy duty cycle. this gives the detergent time to break down the body fluids. also, use a lavender scented softner. don't know why but this also eliminates odors.
no loot for wisk? dont fret. use a scoop of baking powder in the laundry with what ever you are using. this REALLY kills the odors good.
Best way I know is this, Soak your T-Shirts in cold water, then with the good old fashioned bar soap. You can buy this in your local hardware store. Remove the shirts from the water ,rub in the soap. Leaving them free from water & still with the soap on, 1/2 hr should be enough. Back to the cold water give a little rub . This time add more soap, leave the soap on & pop into your machine on a 40ºc normal wash. Once done ,hang your shirt´s outside , The sun will do the rest of the work for you, by bleaching the stains out the natural way. If your shirts are dark colored, remember to wash them inside out & hang them out like this. This way the sun won´t bleach the color out of the material

Shout! Soak your clothes if the smell stays, also use vinegar, just a little in your wash, it is suppose to eliminate odors.
