Answers:
I do all my laundry in cold water... I use shout if nessacary.. bleach on the whites, and Tide with bleach detergent... my clothes look and smell great..
No, but it is cheaper and does not set stains.
it doesnt matter wether its hot or cold. the hott water usually shrinks the clothes more. wat matters is the deterjent
It depends on the kind of laundry you're doing, whether it's color or white stuff, etc.
I usually use warm though
Yes it does, and makes the clothes nice and soft. No need for softener´s
I have a front loader and use Tide HE detergent. Works great in cold water. Actually made for cold water.
To be precise it would depend on the stain as some would be gone instantly with cold water. In general, hot water is much better than cold to remove a variety of stains.
hello dimplemumso u use cold water for laundry can u show me how too use it and thanks
Norman
Yes and no. In many instances it does, esp if you have blood or body fluid stains. But if you are going to use cold water then you need a detergent that will disolve in cold water. So, stay away from powdered detergents and use liquids for cold water washes. Also when you use a pre-treatment for a stain, it is much better to use the stick that you rub into the stain than the liquid.
Joel T,
I seen a show on that one time , and you can use cold water verses hot with some of these detergents that say to use for cold . And they said it cleaned as well as hot .
But for years I've used hot water (luke warm ) and I like it better then cold . For myself , I dont care for the cold wash .
I try to use cold for everything except my whites, it is supposedly more energy efficient. I use cold and my laundry comes out great. maybe if you have kids you should use warm or hot but i have yet to shrink anything using cold water.
cold works just a s well as hot on everythang. but if ya need to sanitize say for a a baby or eldery person. then hot is definely your best bet, especially for really soiled bed linens, etc.
It probably does not clean as well, but it saves money and electricity or gas and works well on dress clothes etc... I use warm water on towels, underware and very dirty clothes.
