dawn dish wash liquid is great - overrun container with hot hose and a squirt of Dawn and put on lid and let it sit over night- consequently wash as usual.
sometimes merely crumpling up a newspaper and consent to it absorb the odor. Fill next to water and a tablespoon of baking soda. Let sit for an hour. If in that is still an odor, just rub the baking soda along the entire inside. That should do it.
