I got self tanner on white carpet and now it's yellow! carpet stain remover doesn't work, how do i get it out?

Use a little dish washing liquid, work in with your finger tips . Leave for a few min´s then rinse with a sponge and warm water. Work inwards from the stain, like this it won´t spread the stain further. This should lift the stain out
try to bleach it. or hire someone to clean it.

i would either try oxy clean or Spot Shot... u can buy it any grocer /dept store.. It's always gotten grease/ cat puke etc off my carpet. But i wouldn't try bleach on white carpet. The chemical will ruin the carpet. I did that w/ water down bleach... & it turned dingy.. which according to the "experts" was good b/c it could still b dyed.. When it turns yellow... u've ruin the fibers.
They also make this other stuff that I found at Target that works pretty good called, FLOEX.. both that & Spot Shot have always worked for me. Spot Shot even help get paint up off the floor.. tons of it.
Try getting a mister and filling it with 1/4 vinegar too 3/4 water, and misting away!! The vinegar smell will disipate, so no need to worry there!! Good Luck!! Or you can go and buy some shout, and shout away!! While your at the store get you one of those fingernail scrub brushes, and shout it, then scrub the area with the little scrubber! Then I'd use a water mister to get rid of the shout, and rinse the scrubber and repeat!! Then put a fan, around that area, but make sure the fan doesn't have any lint in it, first!! Good Luck to you!
