Is there any way to get a water stain out of a silk necktie?
Question:

I've used this on my husband's ties, and it works well.
To remove water spots, hold the tie over the steam from a rapidly boiling kettle. You should cover the spout with muslin first, to prevent any droplets of water reaching the fabric. Allow the fabric to become slightly damp, but not wet. Shake out and then press on the area while it's still slightly damp, rubbing the stained area with a piece of the same material, or with your fingernail or edge of a spoon.
Then I found this, which is basically the same :
Stain Removal For Water Spots:
If you have remnants of pure dried water,, try rubbing the edges of the water spot with a spoon or fingernail to blur them. Dampening the area first with steam may help. If the outline is evidence of an actual stain, you will need to follow stain removal steps and then blur any remaining outlines.
