What's the most effective and fastest way to wash hats?
Question:I've seen those skeletal things to keep it in place- good idea? Where can I buy one? And finally- do I toss it in the washer or someone told me to put it in the dishwasher?
Thanks!

I clean my hubbies on the top shelf of the dishwasher and instead of buying a frame fit thing for it, i just put a few small hand towels rolled inside the hat and that keeps it shape. I keep the towel in their after i take it out of the dishwasher and let it air dry on the counter and it dries with a nice shape also...I have also did the washer, but it seems like it is hard to get shape back and the bill of that hat doesnt seem the same after being so water logged and spun around...good luck
I have to wash baseball caps every week. I use a Frisbee. I put a hat on each side and put it in a garment bag. I pull the drawstring firmly around the bag and tie so there's little room for the caps to slip away from the Frisbee.
Since the caps are heavily soiled by sweat, I was them in heavy loads and use either oxy clean or borax. I toss it into my regular laundry. I then hang them on a clothespin to dry.
The bill of the cap stays in shape. He's kept caps for over 2 years, so they hold up pretty well.
Those skeletal products to tell you to use them in the dishwasher. But I think it's creepy to use something that has food product in it on something my hubby is going to put on his head.
