How to shrink a Red+Black shirt?

Question:I just got a new work shirt that is mainly red with black on the end of the sleeves and on the collar. My problem is the shirt is one size too large. The material is 60/40 (Cotton/Polyester). I've tried drying it on the hot cycle which has helped a little, but not enough. Any ideas on how I can shrink it more? I thought about Hot water but it is red and black... will this be an issue? Thanks in advance to all your suggestions!

Answers:
Don't wash it in hot water. If you do this, and are lucky enough not to have it bleed all over, all you're going to do is fade it out. All you're going to have is a pink and grey shirt. The hot cycle in the dryer is the best you can do. Sorry.

Try hot water but with a color safe laundry detergent or with a cup of vinegar (which is supposed to set the dye so that it will not run). However, I am not positive that using hot water will not cause the shirt to bleed anyway.
To Shrink try boiling some water and boil the shirt for a little bit, if it's going to shrink, this will do the job.
60/40 won't shrink..that's one of the selling points of the blend..sorry..guess u need to buy a new one or take it to an alteration person and have it taken in
Take it to a seamstress to get them to adjust the length of the arms; they will also be able to adjust the length of the body of the shirt as well.
