My new dress is too big, how do I shrink it?
Question:It is 95% cotton and it is an xsmall so I cannot return it. How do I shrink it? wash with hot or cold water? Heat? HELP please.

It probably won't shrink too much, but wash it in hot water and dry it in the dryer.
Go and get it altered. That way it will fit perfect!
After washing, let the dryer tumble it for 10 mins or so. The cotton should shrink.
