Ironing clothes?
Question:I stay at a hotel 3 nights a week and after my clothes are in a suitcase, they get wrinkled. I am not the best ironer (although I do it if I have to). I often "steam" my clothes in the bathroom with a hot shower but that sometimes makes the fire alarm go off! Any suggestions on an easy way to get the wrinkles out of clean clothes coming out of a suitcase?
Answers:
downey wrinkle releaser is a spray that is sold in most markets. Ironing is the best way to go for a nice clean look. And how the heck does stream make the fire alarms go off?
This may be too much trouble, but it's better than ironing. I fold my clothes with tissue paper (the kind you use inside presents). It really cuts down on the wrinkles. That's only advice I have...good luck.
This is one thing I do that's super simple. If there is a Landry mat at the hotel or near it go there! I know it sounds weird but if you put your clothes in the dryer on low-medium heat for a few minutes and take them out and pull on them the wrinkles will come right out!
No magic but I heard if you roll your clothes instead of folding them you will get less wrinkles. You could take a small spray bottle for water and use very warm water to mist them. If you have a dress that is very thin material or silky you may want to roll it with a pair of pants on top, so it is not smashed
with the other heavier clothes. Good Luck
Also if you are driving your own car I would suggest keeping clothes on a hanger, inside a plastic zipper bag. If you don't have one, I have used a kitchen size garbage bag white, many times. just poke a little hole in the center of the bottom of the bag, then insert your hangers and pull it down over all your clothes at one time. Hang this in the back behind the driver side door so it is not in you viewing area. You could also put your clothes inside your suitcase like this too. But those cases really smash your clothes
