Which chemical can get red wine out of a t-shirt?
Question:Approximately 3 hours ago i spilt a substantial amount of red wine on a light blue t-shirt which i am still wearing. Which substance will remove the stain regardless of time and which wont damage the t-shirt? thankyou for any help.

Mix half dish soap (i.e. palmolive) and half hydrogen peroxide and work it in the stain... keep working until it comes out... have used it to remove a red wine stain from light beige carpet before... totally came out.
what color is that shirt? bleach if its a white shirt (obviously), otherwise id say throw out the shirt.

...Oxyclean. at your local Wal-Mart (provided it hasn't dry'd in for very long... keep the area moist with clear, cold water)
Oxiclean would be my recommendation.
