How to shrink a polo without heat??
Question:I just brought this Burberry polo that is a size medium. I am a size small but they only had medium. It is a little too big! The tag tells me to used cold water and line dry. What do I do? I need it to shrink without any damage to this shirt.
Answers:
Assuming it's a 100% cotton shirt, wash it in hot water and run it through the dryer in the cotton setting. It may take more than one wash and dry cycle. There is also no guarantee it will shrink evenly. Burberry is a high quality shirt, so it's not going to shrink easily.
If it's a mixture of other material, it may be even more difficult to shrink it.
Good luck!

Look around, it's done to death.
unless you take it in with sewing you will have to shrink it with heat there is no other way,try washing it and hang it on the line first ,sometimes it will just shrink normally but if it doesn't you will have to wash it and put it in the dryer that will shrink it but it won't wreck it and if your worried check it every ten Min's and put it on to see if its right.if it looks smaller.
