I have notice baby flies In my kitchen yet I am very clean, does anyone know where they are coming from?

If they are small, brownish and somewhat slow flying, they may be fruit flies, which are the burden of every fresh fruit 'n veggie eater. These flies THRIVE in decaying organic (old fruit, food) matter, and once they find their way inside your home, you need to take action!

More than likely, they are living in your trash can or in your sink (or both!). It only takes a few days for them to become an abudant nuisance. Even though you may be clean, it could be the smallest thing that attracted them in the first place.

To get rid of them, there are a number of home remedies, which frankly, have NEVER worked for me (the link provided gives you a few). In my experience, the fastest and best solution are the fly-paper rolls that you buy at grocery store. They look like film rolls but have this yellow paper that pulls out in a large strip. Hang them in your kitchen where you find the flies. In a day or two you'll be amazed and disgusted how many will be stuck to the paper.

To keep steer clear of future infestations, bag all fruit and veggies in bags before disposal--DON'T just toss them in the trash. Keep your garbage disposal clean and free of debris. Spray a disinfectant like Lysol in the disposal after every use and rinse with hot water.

Good luck to you!

these baby flies have just hatched so she laying them somewhere close by...more than likley the bins outside..
I read once that things like fruit flies can breed in the layer of food that collects in kitchen sinks and drains. Scrub the sink with a wire brush and disinfectant. For the drain search "how to kill fruit flies" and you will find sites that sell a certain enzyme that dissolves the icky junk in the drains.
They could be fruit flies or wine flies. Do you have any exposed fruit around? Even very clean people get flies.Where they are coming from I couldn't tell.
they are coming from either fruit, garbage, or sewer/drain.
If you have a bag of potatos or a bag of onions check to see if there is a bad one in the bag,,, I find this alot of times when i see the flies
yep. a pesky predicament.
sounds like fruit flies. they appear seemingly out of the blue whenever there is decaying food or drink. check your home for hidden food (my friend finally found a rotten banana in the bottom of her son's book bag), recycling, drains, etc. when you remove they're food source, they'll disappear.
or if you have houseplants, there is also a chance that you are seeing fungus gnats. blow on the surface of the soil-if they're there, they'll fly out. go to a garden center and buy a spray for the soil.
