Professional Cleaning for a Couch?

Question:For those of you that had a professional clean your couch, how long does it stay wet? How clean did they get it and did it alter anything. We have a dark green couch that states professional clean only and it looks rather shabby bc of 2 kids.

Stanley Steemer did a great job on my sofa some time ago. It wasn't that wet when they were all done. (great water extraction system) It took a good day to dry completely. I was very pleased with their service.

Most professional will have good equipment is should be damp to the touch. Make sure you have plenty of air stirring to get the couch dry. Also if the cushions come off keep them off until they are dry.
