Twice a week, I would tie an Egyptian old lady to the bottom of each foot, play disco dance songs, and dance until the floor is polished. Great success high five!! nm
It depends on the size of the house and how many rooms within the house are in regular constant use and which are basically unused (guest rooms etc.) for most of the time
Every Wednesday or Saturday at 10 a.m.
Clean bathroom, kitchen, den, and vacuum house.
second saturday or keep your door open at night every with lights off

Pick a room and match it up with a day of the week...like Kitchen =Monday,so every Monday give your Kitchen a good cleaning. You may have to do 2 rooms on one day if you want your week ends off!
Get a maid.
Keep things tidy, do laundry as necessary, clean bathrooms as needed, then spend a couple of hours on Thursday evening running the vacuum, mopping, and dusting and you have a clean house for the weekend. Adjust schedule if you work weekends.
