Black Grease?

Question:we have lots of black grease on the carpet wat can we use to remove from the carpet

Answers:
Ammonia - I use sudsy ammonia or ammonia based windex - windex works well and may take a few applications - spray on, rub in with fingertips and wipe out with a cloth dipped in hot water and wrung out of excess water - repeat if neccessary.
I also use the ammonia in the laundry for work clothes of a grease junky.
I have also had success with Hot Shot or Spot - its a blue can with an orange top sold in carpet cleaning section or laundry section of the store - that works pretty well too.
Good luck - what a tragedy to have such a problem happen to your carpet.

spray it well with 409. then steam clean.
I'd call in some one to clean the carpets.
