How do I remove melted wax from carpet?

Question:It's already hardened and nothing I've tried has worked. Help!

Answers:
Using an iron on a medium setting and brown paper bags or newspaper (place a sheet of paper-toweling beneath to prevent ink transfer) placed over the wax, iron over it to melt the wax and absorb it into the paper. You may need to move to clean areas of the paper several times. If there is discoloration from the wax, use a dry cleaning spot remover. You can purchase a home dry cleaning kit in the laundry detergent isle at most markets. (I recommend everyone have one!) Following the directions on the package, dab away the stain. Good luck!

get an iron and some baking paper (white sheathy stuff you use to place on the bottom on trays, not sure what you call it where you are)..

place the paper over the wax, then press gently with the iron over the paper (on wax) use gentle heat first, then increase if need be. it should melt back thru onto the paper.
put a brown paper bag over it and iron it.
