The most efficient way to do laundry in the TUB and dry outdoors?

Question:

Answers:
washing the clothes in a tub of slightly soapy water
spot scrub areas as needed
rinse in another tub or drain tub and rinse clothes then
wring them out one by one
take outside in a laundry basket
hang items on a clothes line with clothes pins
dry

I guess the most efficient way would be to leave your clothes on, get in the tub, and wash your clothes with them on. (gives a whole new meaning to the phrase wash and wear). This way you're not wasting extra water. After that you can either take them off and go hang them outside or just go stand outside and drip dry.
My mother used to bribe us children to run up and down on the clothes in a big bath she kept for the purpose. We had no power on our farm. It was great fun.
Invest in a mangle. Mind your fingers. Otherwise they'll be mangled.
Hang them on the line to dry.
A Tub?You mean by hand. The key there is to soak and rub each stain by hand.use a good detergent and fill the tub, soak, hand agitate, then wring out and put into a tub of rinse water, and rinse well. Then just hang them out.If you have nicer clothes do not wrinkle by wringing out just let drip dry.Hope this helps.
