I have a walk behind mower,would you know of any way that I can get grass clippings out of the gas tank?

i have a 48 " walk behind mower myself and would like to know how you got the grass in the tank? remove the bolts last is the gas line, tip her upside down and drain your gas. you may need something to get the last few pieces out of there! good luck mate !!!!
About the only way you can get grass clippings out of the gas tank is to completely remove all gas (strain it to remove the grass clippings) and then flush the gas tank repeatedly until all grass is removed.
It will be a lot easier if you remove the gas tank to facilitate cleaning after the initial draining.
I have a push mover (reel mower). I have eliminated the need for gas.
The only way I know of is to remove the gas tank and empty the gas out, rinse tank until all grass is gone. Be sure to dry the tank thoroughly before putting back on. Good Luck! =)
