Why does my candle warmer give off a bad smell?

Question:I just bought a Velamour candle warmer and when I first used it, it smelled good for a few minutes, then I started smelling a very bad odor and figured out it was coming from my candle warmer. Is there anything I can do to stop this, or should I just buy another one? If i should buy another one, then which one is best?

It could be the new burning off of the warmer. Candle Warmers Etc. makes really good candle warmers you can purchase one at www.butterflycandles.net. I have several from this company and have never had any problems.

you need to clean the oils that have collected around it. If this does work...buy another

I would clean all the oil out of it before I used it again. It may have already have some oil in it that you don't know about.
