What can you use to take mold out of fabric?
Question:Something that is safe and fade the colors of the fabric.
Answers:
I had a quilt that was in a plastic storage bag and I didn't realize that it was still damp, so it ended up with mold & mildew...gross.
So I started the washer with hot water and a scoop of oxyclean, and then once it was dissolved, put in the quilt, then I stopped the washer so it could soak a little, and used a stick or something to stir it once in awhile. It was amazing because that oxyclean was getting that mildew out and you could smell the foul odor from the machine. Then I let it wash like normal. Once it was done I ran a regular load with laundry soap and washed again, it was so fresh & clean, no trace of the mold or mildew!
