Can I bleach a..?
Question:Can I bleach a blanket & sheets that are white w/ a pink floral pattern on them? I rarely use bleach cause the smell makes me ill but oxy clean is not getting them as white as I would like. Thanks in advance for your answers.

yes just use a cap ful or 2 and wash it may take several washing's but will be white again w/out whitening the flowers..
Are they 100% cotton? If so, the floral pattern will fade. How much they fade depends upon how much bleach you use. I bleach all of my kitchen towels whether they have color on them or not. They haven't faded much but the white stays very white. My neighbor has the same towels and she accidently ended up with one of mine and when I went over to get it she was amazed at how much whiter mine are but the blue was virtually the same as her unbleached towels.
NO. If you put bleach in the wash it will mess up the floral print.Try getting a bottle of shout and pour it right in with the water as it fills up then add yor blankets and sheets.
use clorox 2 if you are afraid of the pink flowers being bleached away. it's safe for colors
Yes, I would use bleach.
I would try washing them in hot water first then try the bleach and let them soak .You really don't have to use a lot of bleach to get them real clean.Use 1/4 cup and fill washer before you add the sheets...
