Soap dishes?
Question:Does anyone know of a really good soap dish? After years of searching, I finally found the best facial soap for my face. The only problem is that it only comes in bar form. I go to the gym everyday and I've been carry my soap in a ziplock bag; but, I would really like something better. I'm hoping there is a holy grail of soap dishes out there.

I found this one soap dish that has the same style that I have used forever. It's sweet because it has a string so you can hang it from the shower head while you're showering, and it drains from the bottom so it never gets soggy. In my experience of traveling around with it, while there is a bit of moisture on it when you take it out of the shower, it's never enough to make the other things in your bag wet.
I have one, but can't remember where i got it from. But I believe it came as a set with other travel items, like a toothbrush holder etc. It was cheap, so maybe check dollar stores etc. Good luck, hope this helped. p.s. it was plastic and had a lid on it.

I've had this issue before.are you by any chance using Nutregena facial soap? Just curious! The do make travel soap holders, but they don't stay closed well and tend to leak if the soap has water on it. Look for a small metal container with a flip top lid...like sucrets lonzanges or some gum/mint containers. The soap may be to big to fit in there, but you can take a sharp knive and cut it in half to make it fit.
Becky is right, clear plastic soap dishes have been around for years. If you can't find one, check out a store that sells camping gear, or even Boy Scout gear. You do have to clean the plastic thing once in a while, but its far better than a plastic bag. If too wet, you could still insert the container in a plastic bag.
Wal-mart usually has the travel soap containers in the health and beauty section in the little sample bins in my local store.
Walmart or the dollar stores carry the plastic soap dishes, but the zip lock bag is probably better. I quit using the plastic travel cases years ago because they were not as reliable as a good zip lock bag.
