What is the best way to clean the inside of a very greasy outdoor gas grill?

Question:I've tried a lot of cleaners, but most require a lot of scrubbing to get clean.

Answers:
Lock a couple of small 'possums in the grill overnight. You could pour in some gasoline and set it on fire. The only good next best alternative is elbow-grease, and EasyOff.

Coat it with easy-off oven cleaner. It will take a lot of the junk off, may have to do it twice. The trick is to clean it after every use to maintain it.
Extra virgin olive oil will wipe off most crud you don't have to use much either
Pressure washer works like magic
Clean it twice a year with baking soda after you scrape away all the mess.

Use enough warm water to cover the grease, then add a tablespoonful or 2 , of baking powder/soda. This will lift most of it off. Then wash with hot water, and dish washing liquid. Best way to keep your grill clean is, when you have cleaned and washed it. rub with olive oil. then cover with plastic , this will also stop the grill from rusting
They sell easy-off oven and grill cleaner or simple Green grill cleaner both are usually near the grills and accessories in stores. they both work great and you wont have to do much scrubbing.
