use filtered or bottle water to prevent minerals going on disk . When wiping disc ,make sure you wipe in a downward motion not circular.
just use water and a little mild soap

spray lysol works every time! Seriously!
Plain old rubbing Alcohol and a cotton ball. a Q-tip something soft will work too.
rubbing alcohol and a soft cotton cloth(like a sock) start from the center and gout out to the edge like spokes of a wheel. Then you can coat it with a little wax to minimize the scratches.
I would use eye glass cleaner and the cloth that comes with it.
