Dry Cleaning?
Question:I own many cotton dress shirts that are light colored and I tend to sweat a lot from the armpit area in the summer. Is dry cleaning my light colored shirts going to permanently stain my shirts with the sweat stains? Machine wash is not an option.
Answers:
Ask your dry cleaners to scrub the stains with a special soap they should have for clothes they dry clean instead of wash. This soap is used for "ring around the collar" and armpit stains in dress shirts of cotton, polyester, and silk. The problem is that if it doesn't work, the cleaning will most probably set the stains into your clothes for good. For future reference, wear cotton t-shirts underneath your dress shirts and if you still get sweat stains, bring them to the cleaners as soon as possible. The wetter the stain, the better chance they'll be able to get it out.
your nasty!!!!!!!!!... bet you have ring around the collar,,,and ringus around the dingus...
why is machine wash not an option as these days modern machines have a light cycle, or why not hand wash them, cotton is fine in the machine or by hand..
