Hole in my bed sheet!!?
Question:I got a cigarette burn( one you can fit your finger though) in my very expensive bed sheet. My mother will flip out, it's part of an expensive set that's out of print from 2 years ago. I was thinking of cutting a small peice from the inside of the pillow case but you'd be able to tell there is a hole there. Is there any way of saving my sheet?
Answers:
I don't think there is a way to save it. I think the pillow case idea is your best bet. Sorry!
nope and ur dumb for smoking in bed.
smoking in the house is nasty, coming from a smoker but, to resolve the hole just flip it out and sew it you can never really fix it unless you take it somewhere,,for the hole not to be seen that it was sewed
Why would you mom know? Does she sleep with you or do your laundry?
Don't tell her! ! !
You will be in more trouble when you burn the house down because you are smoking bed. I hope you don't kill yourself and your whole family.
Wash your own sheets until you move out so she won't notice.
You can patch it but it will show no matter how good you are at it..and you'll end up with a hole in your pillow case too. You could buy a pretty embroidered patch at a sewing store - then darn the hole so it doesn't run in the wash and sew the embroidered patch over it.
Smoking in bed is very dangerous, a cigarette can smolder inside a mattress for hours without you knowing and then the whole thing can become engulfed in flames very quickly. If your mattress shows any sign of being burned, please dab the area with some water to make sure nothing is going on inside there.
There isn't any good way to fix the sheet...you'll just have to wash them yourself if you don't want your mom to see the burn. Please make it a rule never to smoke in your bedroom. Too many people have died as a result of smoking and falling asleep.
maybe u can buy cloth at a rag store and find one similar ofr the bed sheet and sew it on.
its just alittle hole, i say tell your mother, but its best to tell me were the whole is in the sheet. Other then that ill say sew the whole, with no material, just close the hole.
Just sew it back together with thread the same color.
