As a frugal person, over the years, i have only a handful of products that have to be 'name brand'. dawn
Question:dish soap was one. about 10 yrs ago, they started "improving their product". i noticed when all there was ,was ultra & flavors etc. i complained to the company. they sent me coupons for the very products i disliked. i've been patient, but now i'm ready to jump ship. please advise me as to the dish soap i should try, so i don't have to buy a dozen just to check them out. please keep in mind, i'm not crazy about it smelling like something to eat or bubble-bath in. thanx!

Ajax and Sun light are also good soaps...=) I'm with you why do they mess with something that was good to begin with...=)
Change if you must but word of advice, You won't find another Dish-washing liquid that really removes grease from things, and can be used in a multitude of things. But if you must try Liquid Joy, or Palmolive. Bye
Dawn is still the best. I noticed the same thing you did when they changed everything. At the time I didn't have a dishwasher and all my plastic thermal mugs tasted like the flavored detergent! I've tried a couple of the newer Dawn detergents over the past couple of years, as well as some other name brands, but I always go back to original Dawn. You probably won't find anything better, but if you do, please post something letting us know!
Dawn with bleach is not too bad. They have a one kind that has bleach and it does not smell too bad. I use it all the time. It is a off yellow color.
I agree. Cannot tolerate all these super scented products on the market. Most of the products have natural scents or at least one that is a fresh scent like clean linen or such. I actually have a Dawn Original Scent in my cabinet now. Could be your supermarket is not carrying all the scents.
