My room is an absolute Disaster! Its mainly laundry...ALOT of laundry..any tips on how to get through ?
Question:I need to get my room CLEAN fairly quickly..like 1-2.5 hours..Thanks!~!!
Answers:
I would suggest you start by doing your laundry.
Yeah for now get off the damn computer and start washing.
in the future..get off the damn computer once in awhile and stay on top of it.
go
now...
Well, does that include getting the laundry _done_? 'Cause if so, then it's pretty much hopeless.
If not, then I'd suggest getting several large trash bags, and start sorting out the laundry into the bags. That way, it will be easier when you get to washing all those clothes - you'll know that the contents of any given bag will go in a load together. Once you've got up all the clothes, put the bags somewhere out of the way to await laundry day.
At that point, if the job really is mainly laundry, then it should just be a matter of picking up a bit, sweeping, making the bed, etc. That's probably going to be the quickest way to get the room in shape.
Sorry i don't know your home address , so i can not come to help you clean your room.
This is the best way I know to get your room clean and tidy. Set your alarm clock to go off in 15 min´s time, see how much you can achieve in this short amount of time. Ready? Go. All dirty clothes next to the bedroom door, along with any thing else that does not belong. Never waste time taking thing´s back to their rightful place till you have finished in the room you are working in. All clean clothes to the closet. jumper´s top´s jean´s all folded or hang them up. STOP. Normally when the clock sound´s you stop and have a rest , or you set the clock for another 15, min´s and carry on this way. But you have many thing´s to do and want to finish in 5 hr´s . If you do it this way 15, min´s here and there , you will finish in no time at all. just remember to reward yourself when you do finish your job. All paper work´s pop into a box, you need not fix all in one day. Once you have all the clothes away and thing´s in their right places , then wipe down the furniture in your room with a damp cloth. this will help to keep the dust at bay. Then pass the hoover . Hope this help´s a little try with 15 min´s at a time
FIRST: separate your clothes. Pull out anything you dont want or wear. Washing this stuff will only add to your chores.
SECOND: Find out what just needs fluffed. Many times clean piles of clothes just get messed up and a good fluff will do the trick. How to: put these clothes in the dryer. Mist them first. Add at least 2 dryer sheets. Fluff for 15 minutes. THIRD: TAKE hangers to the dryer with you and hang immediately. This corrects "piles" waiting to happen.
Sort your laundry and take it to a laundramat. You can use multiple washers and dryers at the same time. Also they are bigger than a normal washer dryer equalling fewer loads. Just make sure you have 'clean' bins to bring all the laundry home. As far as your room is concerned just pick stuff up off the floor, and put them in their proper place. You should be allright
load up dirty clothes go to laundry-mat fastest way out.
Pick up your laundry and shove it in the wash. Then vaccume up, dust, and fold your clean clothes, organize your belongings, and seperate the stuff you want to give away. Good luck.
Organization is the Key..More importantly make a committment to getting it done. Set a goal.Be specific..
On Tuesday at 5:30 - 7:00 i am going to do my laundry.
Its not difficult if you focus on the task and get off your **** and get it done !!
Good Luck
You didn't say whether or not your laundry is clean or dirty--if both -- separate. Clean in one basket, dirty in another.
Fold and put away clean clothes or hang them up.
Dirty clothes in laundry basket which can be put in closet or your laundry room.
Make your bed. Clear tops of furniture and dust.
Pick up items off the floor and on chairs in your room.
