How do you dissolve, soften or get rid of a caked-in epoxy resin/compound? Sorry, item cannot be placed in?

Question:freezer.

Answers:
Although it depends on both the material to which the epoxy is caked-in and the type of epoxy. Regardless of material, once the two parts of the epoxy (resin and hardener) are combined, there are few substances that will soften and no substances that will dissolve epoxy. Any substance that would soften or dissolve it would definately damage the material to which it is attached.
