I accidentally spilled some red food coloring on my hand! Help?>?

Question:I was working on a project..and accidentally spilled red food coloring on my hand. I kept washing it with soap and water numerous of times. But it is still there. Is there a chemical or anything I can use to get it out? I am afraid is is permant on my hand because it is ALOT.

Answers:
It will come off when you wash your hair. I know this sounds silly, but believe me. I decorated cakes in a bakery for several years and when I came home my hands were many different colors. Something in shampoo takes it out. Cause every time I washed my hair it was gone.

Definitely not permanent!
Use nail polish remover!
Yep, try the nail polish remover. It should have the acetone in it though, otherwise it won't work as well.
You might try hydrogen peroxide. It works for blood I would think it would work for red food coloring on your hand. It may take a couple of times. I know this sounds crazy too but try hand sanitizer too. I accidentally discovered one time cleaning an office it gets ink out of countertops it might work for your stained hands. It may take a couple of times. I would still try the peroxide too.
