fabreeze works great, but you might want to try two things:
To get the smell out of the clothing, put them in a plastic garbage bag with a couple of peppermint tea bags and close up the bag tightly. The peppermint tea smell will remove the funky smell.
And then throw about 4 peppermint tea bags into the suitcase and put it away. The next time you use it, the suitcase will not have that funky smell anymore!
Fabreeze and hang them on washing line!
Febreeze Fabric Freshener!
Fabreeze! thats a fresh idea! .=S
Buy new ones?
the next time you pack your clothes put a couple of your favorite dryer sheets in between the clothes,, then when your ready they will smell fresh ! I leave a box of them opened under my car seat,, my car always smells nice and fresh...
Throw them in the dryer with a fabric sheet and let it run a couple minutes on high if the fabric isn't too delicate. This works great for clothes that have a smoke odor, too.
Febreeze is a great fabric refreshner. If you want a claen laundry smell while traveling, put dryer sheets in your suitcase. I tend to put about 10-15 if I am traveling for a few weeks. Also, hang the clothes outside if you can after they are sprayed with Febreeze.
fabreeze is good. But I would put them on a quick wash with just some fabric softener. If they are already clean they would be much fresher.
Hang on outside washing line
Tries aring out the suitcase?.leave a scented fabric sheet in the case at all times, it helps bigtime!!
Febreeze or other similar products may work. Or try hanging them up outside. If you can't do that try putting them in the tumble dryer on the cold bit of the cycle - ie the last 10 mins. that should help.
Pop then on to the clothes horse for a while and leave by a window for the fresh air to circulate round them or spray them with some iron freshener you know that stuff you fill your iron with and it makes your clothes smell nice can't remember the name of it but it begins with a"V"
Plenty fresh air, a couple of days outside will rid the smell from your clothes
asda do something called a bath bomb. its a large round ball that you throw in the bath and it fizzes and disintegrates. i buy them, throw them in the water for a few seconds take it back out, dried it off and the smell is fab. i pop them into the nets you get from washing tablets and put them in my drawers and wardrobes and the perfume smell end up on my clothes. they last for months and months, it worked for me when i left wet clothes folded too long before drying. try them and pop them into your suitcase, zip it up and just leave it.
