How to clean cutlery?

Question:

Answers:
dishwasher, thats the best way of being sure it's clean

For knives it is best to hand wash, dry immediately and put them back into a knife block. All of this will minimize damage to the blade and keep it sharp.
Smear lysol on your bare hands and rub against the blade.
warm water, cloth and a bit of fairy liquid?!
best way to clean cutlery is to wash it as normal- soaking is good of food is stuck firmly on. Then to get a really good shine put the cutlery in a tub of very hot water. Then one piece at a time use a cotton cloth or towel and wipe/ polish the item. Be careful not to put fingerprints where you have already wiped. I.e do handle last. This will give you gleaming cutlery!
I worked in restaurant and they would put their cutlery...stainless steel...into a bowl of very hot water and mentholated spirits. It would give them a great luster.
knives- hand wash

stainless steel- to reduce/remove tarnish, clean with metal/jewelry cleaner, wash and dry.
Vinegar.
soak cutlery overnight in water with a little bleach added, and it will really shine!
Never put knives in the dishwasher - the heat dulls the blades
If the handles are not bone and the cutlery is not solid silver you can put a little squirt of bleach into a bowl with hot water leave for 10 minutes and rinse off they will as good as new.
