How to clean permanent marker from laptop cover?
Question:I wrote something not so nice on my laptop cover with permanent marker, I'm trying to scrape it off but it's barely working. Can anyone suggests me a solution to get rid of it?
Answers:
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I'd be surprised if this thing didn't work, it's great on stuff like this.
Try nail polish remover
I had this problem and I used alcohol on a cotton ball. It was so amazingly quick. (It depends on the marker -- the one I cleaned up was a Sharpie -- but definitely try this.)
Go over the permanent marker with a dry erase marker. You should be able to wipe clean after that. It works on smooth non-porous surfaces only.
My three year old son decided to "decorate" my laptop cover with his own brand of art work, along with my dining room table where the laptop was kept. After explaining that coloring on mommy's things was not a good idea, i set off online to find a way to remove the stains. I tried nail polish remover and windex and many other household cleaners, but all didnt work. Finally I got to a website for moms that suggested Arm and Hammer Baking soda. WORKED LIKE A CHARM! Might as well have been an eraser on pencil. Just sprinkle on and scrub with a dry sponge (the scrubby kind) then add a little water and it should come right off! GOOD LUCK~!
