How do I stop black silk sheets from bleeding thru EVERYTHING?? Already tried washing in cold water.. no help

Question:I have tried washing in cold water, and no help. They are bleeding in wash and are leaving pinkish stains in dryer and on my nails!! HELP!! Thanks :)

Answers:
You'll need to add enough cold water in the washer to cover them and then add one cup of white vinegar. It will keep it from bleeding. After you run it though the wash once, then wash them in cold water with Woolite for Dark fabrics. You might have to wash them a few times at first. Do not put them into the dryer until the wash water is CLEAR. If it's clear they can go into the dryer without making marks.

Usually fabrics bleed when a cheap dye is used. First, don't put them in a machine. Soak them in Woolite and then have someone help you press out the water. Hang them to dry.

Or...buy more expensive sheets. Good Luck!
try a little salt in the water
wash them seperatly
I heard that putting some vinegar in the water helps set the color. I've never tried it but you may want to. It may just be true. LOL
white vinegar
