How can i stop my washing machine jumping all around the kitchen?

Question:

Answers:
Get it completely level

Bolt that puppy to the wall!
adjust the feet, mine used to do that you have to turn the screw on the feet so they are all on the floor flat.
Sit on it
Level it. There are leveling bolts on each of the bottom 4 corners underneath the machine.
my new one did that.. has it got an adjustable spin cycle?

first time I used the new one here.. it rattled the **** out of the floor boards, i thought it was going to go thru the ceiling.

turn that down to 700 rpm or something..

otherwise you need to brace it .. maybe you have a concreate floor?

if not thats the problem.. as most kitchens have strong floors.
Turn the radio down
Your washer needs to be leveled, then to avoid the "jumping machine" make sure your clothing is evenly distributed when loading the washer. This will cut down on your washer getting out of balance all the time.
You need to balance it . Lift it up from the from the front, and adjust the legs , this will stop it from jumping out the widow. Happened to me , I thought it was going to eat me up
have it leveled..
Is it new , if so you should have undone the secuing bolts , if not make sure it is stable on the ground
Make sure that you spread the load out properly in the drum.
The washer is not level, most washers have legs that self adjust to level them, all you have to do is lift up the back so that the legs comes off the floor. If you are by yourself you can do this by leaning it first forward off the back legs and then lean it back for the front legs. this will adjust the level of the legs and should stop jumping
Give it back to its kangaroo mother.
As a lot of people have said, you need to make sure it's level. If your floor is so uneven that you can't level it then screw a piece of wood to the floor (ply wood or chipboard), make sure that's level and sit the machine on that. That should do the trick.

Bear in mind though that it needs to be level from left to right & front to back.
level it. is it new? did you take the transit fixings out. When my bf and i first got a house together we got a new washing machine and he was at work and i thought o i'l plumb it in i've got all this washing to get done. i did it and it jumped all over the kitchen like the thing was possessed i phoned him and said theres something wrong with the washing machine help. I hadn't taken the fixings out! (i was only 17 it was my first house and i didnt know it had any!!)
If you've checked that it's feet are level and it's still jumping around, it could be that the stabilising thingy (technical term) just underneath the lid, which is a big lump of concrete, has come loose. It needs it's bolts tightened up to stop it wobbling.
make sure it's level and don't overload the machine and that you've removed the transit bolts if it's new
