I live on a farm... so what is the best non-detergent way to get mud stain out?

Ratio: 2 tablespoons of baking soda per gallon of water.

If the fabric is white, you squeeze lemon or lime juice and rub with your hands. Make sure to soaked the fabric to the baking soda-warm water solution before you put the lime juice.
